Record breaker opens up Arcade near Orlando Airport
If you watched "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters," you know Billy Mitchell, the man who has been sort of labeled as the evil villain of the retro-arcade gaming world. Well he recently opened an arcade at Orlando's airport with the name that of the movie. What's more oddly enough is that with good guy Steve Wiebe is also featured as part of the arcade's entrance as seen here but I think the way Billy made the picture was to glorify himself and make Steve look a bit....dull and confused. If that's true, the guy's living up to the vision

Guinness just asked over 13,000 gamers to vote for their favorite video game characters at their Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition website. The top 50 list compiled seems fairly accurate if you take a lesson from the gaming modz you see within gaming communities.
In the top 5 of this list you'll find characters that have been used for hundreds of gaming modz as well as some very cool community driven gaming modz based off these personalities.

I was happy enough to be invited to a release party for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Valentines hosted by the nice people who organize the annual Devastation tournament, which, in my opinion, was certainly better than some lame date with some guy I barely know that felt obligated to have a Valentine. Although it was over an hour of a trek, another Evil coworker and I gladly drove out, Evil D-pads and swag in arms to give away to attendees.
The party was at the Best Buy out in Surprise, AZ, and probably housed over 50 excited gamers in attendance. Both Evil Controllers and Monster attended the event and handed out goodies (apparently Monster drinks now come in turbo form with even more energy boosting capabilities….oy vey). People from all sorts of backgrounds attended, young, old, mid life crisis range, to play Marvel vs. Capcom 3 hours before the official release, using both our Evil D-Pad controllers or joystick pads
