Fans were a little disappointed when Lucasarts officially closed down and Disney took control of Lucusfilms. Many gamers expected that this meant there were not going to be any more Star Wars themed games, but DICE shocked us all at E3 with a small 20 second teaser revealing Star Wars: Battlefront, a game that has long been wanted by many gamers and Star Wars fans alike.
EA games label president Frank Gibeau has talked a little about DICE's progress on the game at EA's FY14 Q1 earnings call and stated that "The DICE team is well into development on that product already, so we feel very bullish about our shooter rotation over the next several years."
Gibeau also went on to saying that Battlefront 3 will have a third-person component to it, hinting that the third game in the series will offer both third-person and first-person just like the previous games.
A release window hasn't been given on the game, but we can definitely expect to hear more about it soon, and I would

One thing that Microsoft won't seem to drop when it comes to the Xbox One is the phrase "the power of the cloud." I've personally seen time and time again an Xbox One representative praise this power but apart from Forza Motorsport 5, we haven't really seen any reason to believe that there really is any power within the cloud, at least as far as the Xbox One is concerned.
I do hope that this changes in the future, and Microsoft will hopefully reveal more uses for their cloud capabilities as the Xbox One grows.
One such use has been revealed, and it will allow Xbox One owners to store an unlimited amount of data on their Xbox One straight to the cloud.
This is a similar feature already seen on the Xbox 360, however, Xbox Live gold members will be given unlimited storage as a benefit of being a paying Xbox subscriber instead of just 512mb. Microsoft has stated that -
"Xbox Live offers Xbox One unlimited storage space in the cloud

Namco Bandai have taken to this year's San Diego Comic-con to announce the release of their new HD remake for Soulcaliber II.
A trailer has been shown to highlight the differences between the original game that was released for Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Gamecube, and the new HD remake that will be making it's way to Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
The new Soulcaliber II HD Online will have a brand new online multiplayer system allowing players to battle with others online, and will have a newly remastered graphical update to better suit today's hardware.
The trailer has shown footage of Hehachi from Tekken, a guest character in the original game, however footage of Link from Zelda and Todd Mcfarlane's Spawn was not in the footage, giving many the assumption that these two characters won't be making an appearance in Soulcaliber II HD Online.
A lot of angry Wii U owners have vented their frustration online, stating that there should be a Wii U version

If you've watched the E3 trailer for Dead Rising 3, you'll know that there is a lot to be excited about. For me, it would be one of the only games i'd want an Xbox One at launch for. The first two Dead Rising games were fun but the areas you roamed became a little dull after spending 10 odd hours within them.
It's good to know that Dead Rising 3 will have an open world that is capable of accommodating both the spaces within Dead Rising 1 and Dead Rising 2 combined. This also didn't account for the extra 'room to spare' on top of the space capable of accommodating the first two games Josh Bridge has talked about at this year's San Diego Comic Con.
Executive Produced of the series, Bridge also went on to discuss a few other things about Dead Rising 3 such as "an unmatched level of weapon and character customization, and immersive Xbox SmartGlass and Kinect integration, Dead Rising 3 delivers a heart-pounding experience unlike any other as players fight

If you're still playing through all of the extra content Gearbox has released for Borderlands 2, we're just giving you a quick nudge to let you know that you won't be close to completing it any time soon. Why? Because Gearbox has just announced another DLC content update and level cap increase.
The new update will add the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 which will cost $5 and will allow players to level their characters to level 72. This new pack will also add a new fighting zone that will pit you off against waves of enemies you wouldn't usually see fighting alongside each other.
On top of this, a new mission will be released in time for Halloween called Headhunter Pack: T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest. This mission will follow the story of T.K. Baha, a character first seen in Borderlands 1 and will end with a boss fight against Jacquest O' Lantern. Players will be able to unlock new customization options throughout the mission.
Gearbox has also released

The Witcher series has always been one renowned for it's graphical fidelity, but the problem here is that as a console owner you're going to get the kind of people that like to boast about how amazing their PC version is when it comes to graphics.
It's true that there is a ton more power in gaming PCs than there is in the Xbox 360 and PS3, but Witcher devs believe they'll be able to do something special with next generation consoles.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be very impressive on both the PS4 and the Xbox One if the Polish developers are to be trusted. Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the game director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has said, "We're creating a really big game for three major platforms at the same time - if something's a challenge it's that. Additionally, developing on next-gen consoles is always a process to look forward to - working to get the max out of the hardware and thinking how one can creatively use the technology is always a blast."
Perhaps those with

A Japanese magazine, Famitsu, has published an issue that includes an interview with Rockstar. Within the interview, Famitsu goes on to giving details about some so far unspoken of features within the Grand Theft Auto V universe.
Like seen in the gameplay trailer, animals will play a part in Grand Theft Auto V. According to Famitsu, there will be more than 15 animals within the game. Some of which players will encounter in the wild, and will be available to hunt. Players will also be able to get a pet dog and give that dog new accessories. The dog can be lost, although we're not sure whether this means the dog can be killed or whether it can be 'misplaced' within the game, and whether you'll be able to get a new dog is currently unknown.
Players will also be able to play underwater for the first time, and Grand Theft Auto V even has an underwater story mission. This mission will be played out by Trevor and Michael with jet skis.
Famitsu also confirmed the Japanese release

Avalanche Studios, the same development team behind the Just Cause games, have posted screen shots leading up to their reveal trailer release. The trailer was released on Sunday and shows almost 2 minutes of a narrated dramatic video that shows one man walking through the barren wasteland desert.
The video also went on to showing some vehicle footage, combat footage, and then at the end exploding into a action filled environment that we've come to expect from Avalanche Studios.
Mad Max is set to be an open world action game set in post apocalyptic Australia and will be released in 2014 and will be playable on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and next gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Avalanche studios has also released the two screen shots used to build hype up to reveal trailer as high resolution images.

As expected, Microsoft has now made Assassin's Creed 2 available to download for free for a limited period of time. This game is part of the "Games with Gold" program that is strictly for Xbox Live users with a Gold membership.
The Games with Gold program seems to be Microsoft's way of challenging PlayStation's PS Plus subscription service that has offered free games since launch. Many also believe that Microsoft are doing the Games with Gold campaign to try and claw back any customers they may have lost at their terrible pre-E3 event.
Although Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty old now, it still stands as a good, enjoyable game, and when not for free, can cost $20 to download digitally from the Xbox marketplace. However second copies from retailers such as Gamestop are probably selling the game for less than $10, and perhaps even less than $5 depending on the demand for the old game.
Players have so far managed to grab Fable III, Defense Grid: The Awakening and Assassin's Creed

To make development easier, Rockstar has split itself into a few different development teams. For example, Rockstar North is currently developing Grand Theft Auto 5, but another team, Rockstar Toronto are one of the development teams behind the Max Payne series, and it looks like they will be the team behind an upcoming next gen game too.
It was previously revealed that Rockstar San Diego, the devs behind Red Dead Redemption, are also making an open world game for next generation consoles, but Rockstar Toronto has posted up a job listing hiring those that are capable of developing for a "Large Scale" title.
More digging around the job postings has revealed that the game is for both Xbox and Sony consoles, although a definite next-gen release hasn't been confirmed anywhere in the text. It's also apparent that the game is currently untitled, meaning that it's very unlikely that Rockstar Toronto are working on an open world Max Payne game.
Seeing as Max Payne is usually
