It looks as if historical accuracy is something that really matters to Ubisoft, and to show that, they have made a brand new video showing off the various types of in-game weapons you'll be able to get in Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag.
On top of this, the video gives a quick preview of the port of Genoa, a location that will probably play an important part in the story.
The video includes a rather energetic historical weapons expert discussing the variety of weapons available to the pirates at the time. He makes a mention of guns, knives, swords and even grenades, but also talks about psychological warfare, a method used by pirates to scare and intimidate their enemies into surrender.
The whole concept behind pirates is a scary one, and if you were out at sea, pirates would be the worst thing you could bump into. It will be interesting to see what kind of options we have open to enable us to scare our enemies into submission.
Along with psychological warfare,

It has been revealed that Ubisoft will be developing extra DLC content for two of their most anticipated games and that the content will be a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
Both Watch Dogs and Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag will have DLC released on the PlayStation 4 before the Xbox One, forcing users to either purchase a PlayStation 4 to get the content early or wait it out for longer to receive the same content on the Xbox One.
Despite Sony not having made an official statement on this matter, a new Sony video showcasing both Assassins' Creed and Watch Dogs has suggested that the timed exclusive DLC content will be available on the PlayStation 4 six months before the Xbox One.
This information was found within the small print of the video, but even with the internet now aware

Rockstar has previously teased about the upcoming free DLC pack to GTA Online, but they have now confirmed an actual release date for the extra content.
Rockstar has stated that the Beach Bum DLC pack will be downloadable for free in November. Rockstar also mentioned that the DLC will include "all-new beach themed vehicles and new weaponry that you'll be able to use in both GTA Online and Story Mode".
On top of this, the Beach Bum DLC pack will add new customization options such as new tattoos and hairstyles, brand new jobs and missions including new gang attacks, survivals, deathmatches and races.
Later this autumn, we'll also be given access to the first part of the creator tools Rockstar have explained before the release of GTA Online. This will mean that before the end of the year, we will be able to create and play our own death matches and race jobs online with other players.
Once an event is created, players will be able to like or dislike it just like

The fairly recent loyalty program, Xbox Games with Gold, has been confirmed by Microsoft as a permanent feature that will continue on past the Xbox One's launch. Before this confirmation, it was discussed by Microsoft that the promotion would only stay till the end of the year, but it looks as if somebody has managed to convince the big M to keep us a little bit happier with our monthly Xbox Gold subscriptions.
The Xbox Games with Gold loyalty promotion offers two free games each month to everybody who has an Xbox Live Gold account. It started out with little mention from Microsoft when Fable III mysteriously appeared on the Xbox marketplace for free, but it was later revealed that the game was part of the ongoing Games with Gold loyalty service.
Since then, Xbox Live Gold members have been treated with a bunch of fairly outdated games over the last few months, including games like Halo 3, Assassins' Creed II, Dead Rising 2, Crackdown and Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes.

After Grand Theft Auto V's amazingly successful launch, Microsoft have finally made a digital version of the game available for download on the Xbox Game's Store.
Like many of the full games available on the Xbox Games Store, the digital version of Grand Theft Auto V will go for $59.99 in the United States, and possibly around £50 in the UK. You will also need a total of 7.63GB free space to download the game onto your hard drive.
Whilst Microsoft have only just stepped up and released a digital copy of the game on their console's game marketplace, it has been available on the PlayStation Network since the game's launch.
Many players have complained that the PlayStation 3 digital version has had problems with textures popping in and out, texture clipping issues, and other strange and unexplainable glitches such as parts of the game spawning late or not spawning at all.
According to reports from officials, this is due to the hard drive not being able to stream

A bit of information found on a Rockstar New England staff's LinkedIn page has given us a little insight into what another development team belonging to Rockstar could be working on at this very moment in time.
Found on the LinkedIn page was the information stating that the Rockstar developer is currently working on "the next version of a famous IP," however other than this, no details are shared on the LinkedIn page.
Luckily though, with a little bit of digging around, we may be able to get more of an idea of what game Rockstar New England could be working on.
The first thing to take notice of is that the LinkedIn page said "next version of a famous IP" meaning it has to be a follow-up to an already released game or game series, and it has to be a popular one too, but seeing as this is Rockstar we're talking about, it's pretty hard to determine what isn't considered a popular Rockstar IP.
Rockstar New England has previously worked on a few different games, but

Despite previous gameplay trailers and footage of Ryse: Son of Rome focusing on the brutal combat found within the game, there is a story within the world of Ryse, and a newly released gameplay trailer gives an insight into the storyline of Ryse: Son of Rome.
Although Crytek, the development team behind Ryse: Son of Rome, are best known for their beautiful video games graphics, Ryse manages to capture our imagination through both great visuals and good gameplay, and hopefully a good story too.
Rome: Son of Ryse's story mode would be better described as a cinematic action title- it has cut scenes relating to the story within the game, a fairly easy control system that is easy to get to grips with, and if one wants it, a very minimal user interface on top of it all.
The story focuses around the Roman solider, Marius Titus. After a return back home, he finds his family has been brutally murdered, and then sets off to find the most loyal soldiers to fight with him along

All of the hype that has gone towards Battlefield 4 has gone straight towards the online multiplayer portion of the game, and whilst there will be a story driven campaign as always, all eyes are on online.
DICE seem to understand that because they have put a lot of effort into making sure the Battlefield online multiplayer experience is better than any other previous game in the series. In fact, DICE are calling the online multiplayer on Battlefield their "deepest online career ever."
So, what gives DICE such a strong pride towards their online multiplayer on Battlefield 4? Apart from the all new customizable weapons system, weapon and vehicle camo's, and the brand new progression system, there is actually quite a lot to be proud of.
"While sharing similar basics with Battlefield 3, we are now offering a cleaner upgrade path, clearer Ribbon and Medal progression, and an increased focus on richly rewarding great team play."

The next gen line up so far has looked absolutely amazing, and many games have sparked interest towards both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
It seems that the golden launch was a little too good to be true though, as Drive Club, and now Watch Dogs have been set back to ensure the games are truly 100% complete.
Whilst this is a bit of a shame because we won't be able to play these games on launch day, it is good that developers are taking extra time to make sure their games are the best that they can be.
I'm hoping that's the case with Watch Dogs, as Ubisoft have confirmed that the game will be delayed till spring 2014.
Ubisoft made an official statement on the delay, with CEO Alain Martinez giving his humblest apologies and reasoning's behind the
