It's a brand new month and that means a brand new set of free games for all PS Plus subscribers. The PS Plus games will be available for all players for the entirety of their PS Plus subscription.
The first title on the list of free games this month is GRID Autosport for the PlayStation 3. GRID is a simulation style racing game and offers a lengthy campaign mode and great racing physics. Despite being on PlayStation 3, the visuals in GRID Autosport are pretty spectacular too. Unfortunately a PS4 port is not available.
The second PlayStation 3 title that is available for free in February is Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Persona is a fighter franchise and number four offers decent gameplay, although the story is a little lacking.
Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back is also available for the PlayStation 3 but this title can be picked up for the PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita too. Nom Nom Galaxy is the only PS4 exclusive title in February, whilst PS Vita owners will be able to

The upcoming year is looking to be a great one for video games, especially as far as EA is concerned. EA has recently given out its plans for fiscal year 2017, which starts in April 2016 and ends in March 2017.
It looks as if three major titles will be hitting the shelves in 2016 and early 2017, although plenty of other great titles will be launched alongside the heavy hitters. As you can imagine, none of the release dates were given for the upcoming games. EA simply confirmed that the titles were to be released during the new fiscal year.
In the statement, EA mentioned, "In Q1, we'll begin with the creative and innovative Mirror's Edge Catalyst from DICE launching in May. A great line-up of EA Sports titles are in development for next year, and we look forward to sharing more about these new experiences in the months ahead. An all-new Battlefield game from DICE will arrive in time for the holidays, we're excited to have a new Titanfall experience coming from our friends at

Soon Rocket League will finally be coming to the Xbox One. After being available for PlayStation 4 and the PC since it's release, Xbox One players have not had the chance to play Rocket League. However, Rocket League will be launching on Xbox One in February and it won't just be the exact same content as the other versions.
When the Xbox One version of Rocket League lands in February, exclusive content will be added. The exclusive content will only be cosmetic, but it can be considered a bit of an extra bonus for loyal Xbox One players. The cosmetic items have all been based on the Xbox One exclusive, Sunset Overdrive.
In Rocket League, players can customize their vehicles with a variety of attachments. They can also change their rocket fuel color and make a number of other adjustments. A lot of the cosmetic items already available in the PS4 and PC versions of Rocket League are based around popular video games or concepts so having Sunset Overdrive content will be a welcome

Before Destiny was released, Bungie mentioned that they plan to have a 2 year release cycle for Destiny - this would mean that new Destiny games would hit the market every two years for at least 10 years to come. As the plans at Bungie have evolved, their monetization plans have changed too. Now, over a year after the launch of the original Destiny, Bungie's plans on a sequel have been voiced to the public.
Instead of working on a new sequel to push out in 2016, Destiny will now be launching new content updates throughout the entirety of the year - this could include smaller content updates like the upcoming Valentine's content in February, to much larger expansions that could be as large as The Taken King. It seems as if Bungie aren't even entirely sure of their own plans themselves but as the year progresses, there will definitely be a lot in store for the Destiny community.
Players should expect to see a mixture of free content, DLC content and microtransaction cosmetic

Since the release date of Forge in December, Halo 5 players have been kept busy. All sorts of great Forge maps and custom game modes have been created since the release date of Forge but that has been one issue that many players have already come across.
Previously there was a limit on the number of files each player could upload to the Halo 5 servers. Whilst there still is a limit, it has now been increased so that players have a much larger amount of space to be creative with. Previously save files for custom game modes and Forge maps was set for just 40 slots, but players are now given 100 slots in total.
Forge mode has been an incredibly important part of the Halo franchise ever since Halo 3. A large part of the Halo community has grown around custom games and Forge maps and since Halo Reach, well-built custom Forge maps have even made it into the official matchmaking map rota. The same could happen for Halo 5, but there is still one missing feature.
