2K Games has announced that a new BioShock collection will be coming soon. The collection will feature the previous BioShock games and all related DLC packs. As you can imagine, the title for the collection is simply "BioShock: The Collection."
2K Games made the announcement with an announcement trailer, which has been posted to their Youtube channel. If you've played the BioShock games then the trailer is certain to send chills down your spine. It may be surprising, but it's been nine years since the first BioShock title. Nine years!
2K Games has described the collection as being a $59.99 bundle with other $100 worth of content. Obviously this is taking the full game digital retail prices into consideration, and not the far cheaper price of a used physical copy.
All three games have been remastered for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 with help from Blind Squirrel Games. Below, the content from each three games in the collection has been listed. On top of the full games

A brand new update for Overwatch has been making ripples through the internet this week. The update, which has already seen a release on PC, has now made it's way to the Xbox One. So far the PlayStation 4 update has not been released but we expect to see it soon.
The biggest addition to the new Overwatch update for the Xbox One is competitive mode. Competitive mode is open to all players over level 25. If you're not level 25 yet, you'll need to reach that level before you can take part in the new game mode.
The new competitive mode will use a player skill rating, a new penalty system to punish quitters and rewards for winning games. Before a player is shown their skill rating they will need to take part in 10 qualifier games. Once the 10 games are finished, a skill rating will be assigned to your account.
The skill rating in Overwatch competitive ranges from 1 to 100. 1 is the absolute lowest rating, whilst 100 is the highest. Players will see their skill rating adjust

The Xbox One backwards compatible games list has been growing ever since the feature was added to the console late last year. This month, new games have been added to the list and the total amount of compatible games has now surpassed 200.
For those unaware, backwards compatibility refers to Xbox 360 games that are now supported on the Xbox One system. At the end of June Microsoft added the following games to their list.
Bloodforge - Bloodforge is a third-person hack n' slash style game developed by the Climax Studios and Microsoft Studios. The game was originally released as an Xbox Live Arcade title in 2012
Mars: War Logs - Mars: War Logs is a cyberpunk themed RPG game. The game was published by Focus Home Interactive. Originally Mars: War Logs was released in 2013.
Gripshift - GripShift was a stunt driving game that was developed by Sidhe Interactive and co-published by Red Mile Entertainment, Sony Online Entertainment and Ubisoft Entertainment

If you try to pair fighting games, Tekken and Street Fighter go quite well together, and this has lead to crossovers in the past. For Mortal Kombat, the best pairing would definitely have to be Killer Instinct. Both games offer a slightly more brutal approach to fighting, and according to Ed Boon, the idea of a Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat crossover would be a good idea.
On Twitter, Ed Boon mentioned 'I loves me some KI but a crossover would have to be Xbox exclusive.'
Funnily enough, Phil Spencer later tweeted in reply to state that he 'loves' the idea too. Well, right there we have the two men that could make a real crossover happen, and they both agree on the idea.
Whether or not this was a little marketing ploy by both Netherrealm and Xbox is hard to say, but we wouldn't be surprised if a Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat crossover title was now in the works. Because Killer Instinct is Xbox exclusive, the crossover would also have to be Xbox exclusive, which

If you're a Battlefield 4 player and own the game on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 or PC, you may want to head into game because DICE has just released Second Assault as a new free update.
The new change has been added as part of DICE's new 'Road to Battlefield 1' campaign, which will essentially re-release old content for free to hype up previous Battlefield players and encourage others to get back in the game in anticipation for the new Battlefield title later this year.
Before this change, Second Assault was available for $15, so if you've always wondered what the Battlefield 4 DLC content was like but didn't want to spend any extra cash on the game, you can now find out for yourself.
Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm are included in Second Assault, all of which are re-imagined versions of Battlefield 3 maps. Second Assault also adds five new weapons and 10 new assignments to the game.

The Bespin update for Star Wars Battlefront has been talked about quite a lot already but there's no need to talk about it anymore because it has finally been released.
The new expansion, which is part of the season pass for Star Wars Battlefront, includes 5 new maps, two new heroes, new weapons and new star cards. The new expansion also adds a game mode which has been suitably named Sabotage. A description for the Sabotage game mode has been provided below.
"The Empire are using Tibanna Gas Generators to power their tractor beams, preventing Rebel transports from escaping Cloud City. The Rebels must blow up the generators and defend their extraction point. The Empire must stop the Rebels and hunt them down."
Whilst the new Bespin expansion content has been added to season pass holders, there has been a new patch alongside the update that brings some changes to all players. Firstly, the new patch has increased the level cap from 60 to 70. Players can also unlock new

It may sound odd, but the 343 Industries team are adding a new enemy to Halo 5 Warzone and it's called the 'Grunt Goblin'
The new Grunt Goblin will appear in games as either a Legendary or a Mythic boss. It's essentially a large covenant mech that seems to be the enemy equivalent to a Mantis. It's operated by a grunt and has a very, very large needler and a big fist that looks menacingly capable of smashing through pretty much anything.
Character designer Steve Dyck left a few statements about the new vehicle. "There are two variants of the Grunt Goblin with different capabilities. "Essentially, the backstory of this battle suit is it was built by Grunts for Grunts in what the Grunt designers agreed was the perfect embodiment of agility and lethality."
Senior systems designer Chris Proctor chipped in to say that, "Unlike other vehicles, the Grunt Goblin cannot be hijacked or boarded and has a complete immunity to EMP effects." This means plasma pistols aren't going

Arman "Phenom" Hanjani has taken his first Street Fighter V Premier win at the Dreamhack Summer event earlier this month by pulling in an impressive 3-1 victory against Ai "Fuudo" Keita in the grand finals.
Whilst Fuudo did a good job at winning himself into second place on the Winner's Finals, the Grand Final saw Fuudo at a loss. Even with Fuudo's hard pressed attempts, Phenom outplayed Fuudo with an impressive showcase of skill and unpredictability.
Phenom's victory was fast paced and filled with constant, non-stop attacks. It's almost as if you could feel everything Phenom had worked so long for all come out at the perfect time. Phenom managed to take a few other top ranking Japanese players down with him as he climbed the tournament rankings too. This included Mago and Reiketsu.
Remaining almost entirely in the winner's bracket, Phenom managed to pull off the first European Premier victory since EVO 2014, where Luffy won with a hard earned victory whilst playing

Previously it was announced that a Mortal Kombat XL tournament will take place at EVO 2016, but before today the prize pool sat at $60,000. Today, Netherrealm and Warner Bros. have teamed up to offer an additional $50,000 for the prize pool.
Going forward, the EVO 2016 Mortal Kombat XL tournament will now have a $110,000 total prize pool. Neither Netherrealm, EVO or Warner Bros. have announced exactly how the tournament winnings will be split, but the first place winner is definitely going to go home with a considerable chunk of money.
It wasn't long ago that the ESL Pro League Finals paid out big time to SonicFox for taking the winning spot. We can't wait to see how big Mortal Kombat will grow with thanks to the added financial support of the developer and the publisher.
The fighting game community has been lagging behind MOBAs and FPS title when it comes to eSports winnings, but with hundreds of thousands going to Mortal Kombat X alone in 2016 so far, it's clear to

The Call of Duty World League (or CWL) tournament will be taking place again this year with Gfinity as the event organizer. The Gfinity CWL Summer Masters will offer a similar event format to last year, although some changes will be made.
Perhaps the biggest change to this year's event is the prize pool - unfortunately it's not for the better. Whilst the 2015 SWL Summer Masters event boasted a $100,000 prize pool, the event for this year's CWL will sit at $20,000.
Any team can sign up to the online qualifiers - if a team manages to place well in the qualifiers they will have a chance to attend the offline event at the Gfinity Arena in Fulham Broadway between July 1 and July 3.
Unfortunately this event will only be applicable to European teams with players over the age of 18 but we think it's good to see Gfinity are still supporting the Call of Duty scene. The drop in prize pool funding is unfortunate, but we'd expect North American and International events to have much
