EVO 2016 has come to a close. It's been a fun weekend and plenty of things have happened. Of course the main events at EVO are the tournaments - over the weekend we have seen thousands of players battle it out and a very select few went home with a win.
In some of our previous articles we have shared a little bit about some of the final events for some of the games, but this place is a great spot for anybody interested in an overall EVO 2016 roundup.
Below we have listed all of the results for the grand finals of each game that featured at EVO 2016.
First up, we have results from Super Smash Bros. Melee. At this event, many familiar faces fought for the top spot. In the end, we were happy to see that Jigglypuff player Hungrybox had managed to take first place after beating Armada in the grand final.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the final saw Kamemushi and Ally fight it out. Kamemushi chose to opt for Yoshi at the beginning, but as Ally pulled in wins, Kamemushi

It's been a long, wild ride for Hungrybox but at EVO 2016 he finally managed to take a victory after defeating Armada in the grand finals for Super Smash Bros. Melee. Hungrybox has managed to come out with top three victories in previous years at EVO but this time he made it to the top. Armada is arguably the best out there in the world of SSBM and his history with Peach and Fox has put him ranked at the very top for a long time.
However, after Hungrybox's latest win against Armada, his win at Dreamhack Winter and his second place performance in Dreamhack Austin, it's safe to say that he is hot on the tail of Armada. Hungrybox mains Jigglypuff and he managed to use his expertise to take down Armada, who was playing Fox during the grand finals.
Mang0, who managed to take the win at Dreamhack Austin, didn't do as well this month at EVO 2016, but he still managed to get a top five ranking, along with Plup, S2J and Mew2King. Westballz and PewPewU tied for seventh spot, whilst

The Mortal Kombat XL Grand Final saw SonicFox battle it out against Tekken Master.
A lot of us were rooting for Tekken Master to win the grand final after witnessing him fight his way so valiantly to the final game, but SonicFox clearly seemed like the favorite to take the win.
In the first match, SonicFox picked out Hollywood Cassie Cage to fight it out against Tekken Master's Swarm Queen D'vorah. In the first match, Tekken Master managed to fight himself out of a tricky situation to take round 1, but straight into round 2 the pressure was put back on by SonicFox.
He definitely knows how to play Cassie Cage well - Tekken Master had very little room to move and we were constantly seeing him being put into the corner in the early stages of the grand final. SonicFox took round 2 quick and clean. On the final round of match 1, Tekken Master tried to turn the tables by putting the pressure on but SonicFox got the better of him after an impressive jump in that helped him

The finals for Tekken 7 took place early in the morning on Saturday, with the previous games happening all throughout the first day of EVO on the Friday.
In the final we saw Saint fight his way to victory against Knee. Saint picked out JACK-7 as expected, whilst Knee opted for Bryan. It's debatable whether Knee would have had better luck with another fighter, considering he saw success with both Heihachi and Akuma earlier in EVO 2016. Akuma has been seen to be a good counter to JACK-7 in the past, but it seems in the current meta that even with JACK-7's slow play style, Saint is currently managing to defeat anybody trying to take him down with an Akuma pick.
Even with the Bryan pick, Knee came seconds away from a victory.
Both players put in a lot of effort to make it to the final match at EVO 2016 and whilst the battle seemed back and forth to begin with, Saint ended the match by pulling out a 3-2 victory in a best of three.
It was incredible how close the match

Although all of the hype is one Battlefield 1 right now, DICE has recently started to release some of their previous DLC for Battlefield 4 as free content. Plenty of DLC packs are now readily available to 'purchase' for free from the Sony, Xbox and PC Marketplaces from any web browser.
The latest Battlefield 4 DLC pack to go free is the Navy Strike DLC. This pack includes a total of four new multiplayer maps, five weapons unseen by players that do not own the DLC pack, as well as two gadgets and a new hovercraft vehicle that can be used on water and land. As you can imagine, there is quite a lot of water on the Navy Strike maps.
The Carrier Assault mode is also exclusive to Navy Strike DLC owners, but now that it is available to download for free, everybody will be able to play the game mode. Usually the Navy Strike DLC cost $15 so if you'd like to gain access to it whilst it's free, you should sign into the PSN marketplace, the Xbox Games Store or the Origin PC app to claim

Blizzard has been constantly making improvements to the new competitive mode in Overwatch and in recent news it has been revealed that the developer will be changing the way players can pick characters in the new game mode.
In a future update, players will no longer be able to choose a character if another player on their team has already picked that character. This will stop players from creating teams filled with certain characters and it helps to smooth out and progress the meta of the game.
This rule will only apply to competitive mode so this means players can still create crazy team compositions in casual modes if they'd like to.
You may also be excited to hear that D.Va and Zenyatta will soon be getting much needed buffs. "There's been a lot of talk in the community about how D.Va and Zenyatta felt a little bit underpowered, so we're making changes to them. Zenyatta is getting a little more shields, and he goes a lot faster when he uses his Ultimate.

Surprise, surprise. After the lack of success from the Team Solomid COD roster at the CDL Stage 2 playoffs, Team Solomid has now dropped their COD roster completely.
Earlier in the year Team Rush was acquired by Team Solomid, but it's clear that it didn't take the organization long to realize that this may not be the team they need. Despite the short stay with the roster, Team Solomid made sure to release a statement long enough to explain their decisions for the move.
Team Solomid saw Team Rush as a potential dark horse, especially after coming 8th place in Stage 1 and putting up a good fight against Team Optic, but it seems that their recent poor performance is the key reason for the organization's choice to drop the roster. In the statement, Team Solomid mentioned, "Unfortunately, they were unable to consistently maintain that level of play, and it is a great shame that the team finished near the bottom of the rankings in the World League Stage 2. For this reason, we will

Hundred Thieves has now dropped their latest COD roster. Whilst the organization remains dedicated to the scene, it looks like they're hoping to find better luck with new opportunities in the near future.
A lot has happened within the Hundred Thieves org to suggest why the roster drop is now happening, but the real reason hasn't been specifically mentioned by either the organization itself or the organization owners.
In the past Hundred Thieves had quite a poor performance at CWL so it could be possible that the organization is looking for a stronger roster of players that can help them reach higher heights within the competitive scene. The only announcement for the roster release was posted on the Hundred Thieves Twitter and it stated the following:
"With Season 2 wrapped up, we've decided to release our Call of Duty roster. Thank you for your support, we'll be back stronger than ever."
Whilst it's admittedly disappointing to see the roster say goodbye to the

After what felt like an unending schedule of free Halo 5 content, it's been announced that the monthly content drops for Halo 5: Guardians will now stop. Whilst this was the original plan announced by 343 Industries in the beginning, it's almost a shock to think that’s almost been a year since the game launched.
Since the release of Halo 5: Guardians, there have been eight big content drops, all of which added plenty of new cosmetics, new maps, new items and in some cases even new Warzone modes or AI enemies.
Now that the monthly content drops have stopped, 343 Industries want to make it clear that support for the game won't stop. In fact, some new content is still planned for the near future, even if it isn't going to be as substantial content releases. It's likely that the 343 team are now moving most of their resources to the next Halo title.
343 Industries recently mentioned that, "While you won't be seeing updates every month moving forward, nor updates the size
