Introduction
120fps has been around in the gaming scene for quite some time now. Apart from cinema, this type of content continues to garner more attraction in the market each year. And why wouldn’t it? A high frame rate like 120fps cuts out chopping and ghosting effect issues.
When it comes to multiplayer games with low latency, 60fps still serves as “the” standard and maintains a competitive edge. But the new generation of gaming consoles like Xbox Series X, Series S, and PS5 are powerful enough to run a wide range of games at 120 fps.
In comparison, Xbox Series X and Series S Support more 120 FPS games than PlayStation 5. The good news is that there is a long and impressive list of games that can run on 120fps. Keeping that in mind, let’s take a look at the essential 120fps-supported games on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

Popular World War 2 shooter Battlefield V has had its long-anticipated 5v5 mode canceled, as the game’s developer EA Dice said that they’ve instead decided to work on other bugs that have been hampering the game.
Battlefield V launched last year with a campaign and some limited multiplayer modes but has since expanded to offer a Battle Royale mode as well as other modes that probably should have been included in the first place. At the same time, there have been a lot of bugs that have kept the buzz on the game down, especially when compared to competition like Call of Duty, which has been getting lots of player attention.
Now, it appears that EA Dice is instead working on fixing these issues, rather than working to expand the game. This could be a potential sign that resources are being pulled to work on other software, or it could be a move to just try and stabilize the game for existing players.
