This year’s release of Resident Evil 2 Remake from Capcom was a stunning success, bringing in millions of dollars for the Japanese developer. Well, it appears that they’re not resting on their laurels, as rumors of a Resident Evil 3 Remake are getting louder and louder.
Multiple sources have claimed that they’re hearing a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is being developed, putting us in the boots of former S.T.A.R.S. agent Jill Valentine as she works to escape the doomed Raccoon City during the outbreak that takes place during Resident Evil 2.
The game was similar to the first two entries into the series but mixed in a dynamic where the Umbrella Corporation’s Nemesis bioweapon chases Jill throughout the campaign, becoming instantly more terrifying than any of the other zombies or monsters you encounter in the game.
Thus far we haven’t gotten any firm details on the rumored game, but it’s possible that the game could be launched in 2020, possibly seeing it as a cross-generation

The next DLC character for Street Fighter V has now been revealed. Learn more about the new character coming to SFV in this article.
The new character coming to Street Fighter V as part of a new DLC pack is Abigail.
Abigail is a bulky character that was first introduced to Street Fighter players back in 1989 in Final Fight, an arcade title set in the same universe as the Street Fighter franchise.
Despite appearing such a long time ago, Abigail has not been in a Street Fighter game since. In that regards, Abigail is essentially a new character to make their way into SFV.
In Final Fight, Abigail's fighting style focuses on brute force and heavy-handed attacks, as opposed to finesse and well-timed punches. If players leave their guard down, Abigail will be able to pick up his opponents and throw them around like toys.
It looks as if Abigail will be more balanced out in Street Fighter V - this means he'll have a little more mobility than other bulky fighters,

Capcom is looking to team up with Bandai Namco to improve the matchmaking experience for Street Fighter V players.
Chances are, you may have noticed some network issues or latency with the Street Fighter V online servers. It's something that Capcom has acknowledged themselves, and they're actively looking to improve the situation.
In fact, Capcom is trying so hard to improve their online experience that they're teaming up with a team that knows how to do online matchmaking right; Bandai Namco.
The Tekken 7 matchmaking experience is far superior to what's offered in Street Fighter V, so the partnership between Bandai Namco and Capcom to improve the server performance in SF5 makes perfect sense.
Interestingly, the statement released by Capcom seemed to suggest that Bandai Namco and Capcom would be working together on more than just matchmaking performance in the future. This looks like the start of a long, beneficial partnership for both parties. You can see the

Well, well, well - what a surprise! Street Fighter will be a part of the next ELEAGUE and will be televised across the world on the TBS network.
The fighting game community hasn't quite had the same growth in the last few years that the FPS and MOBA genres have. Finally though, Street Fighter V is coming to ELEAGUE and it could mean great things for competitive fighting games in the following years.
The ELEAGUE Street Fighter V invitational event will begin on March 27 and it will run through March 30. A total of 48 players have been invited to the event, most of which have of course had their names heard in previous Street Fighter V events.
Thanks to the amazing Capcom Pro Tour rankings, ELEAGUE has already sourced 32 of the highest rated players on the leaderboards. 16 more players will be invited to the ELEAGUE Street Fighter V event by Capcom. So far we're not sure who these 16 players will be, but they're likely to be competing players or those well known in the

Red Bull is hosting yet another Street Fighter tournament this year, and the player roster just keeps getting better. If you're at all interested in watching Street Fighter V, the Red Bull Kumite 2017 tournament is something worth looking out for.
The tournament will take place on May 27 - during the event, a total of 256 players will compete for a chance to win a grand prize. On May 28, any winners from the previous days and any prestigious players lucky to have received an invite will fight it out till the grand finals later that day.
So far we have a total of eight professional players have been invited to the Red Bull Kumite event. The first four to receive their invitations were Tokido, Xiao Hai, PR Balrog, and RB. The biggest name to stand out here is, of course, Tokido - a player that has already battled his way to the grand finals of two previous Kumite events from Red Bull.
A couple of days after the first four players were announced, four new players were

A brand new Resident Evil 7 DLC pack is now available on the PlayStation 4.
After the launch on January 24, Resident Evil 7 has already received its second DLC expansion. This new expansion has been named Banned Footage Vol. 2 and it follows the first Banned Footage volume. The new DLC includes 2 missions and a new 'comical' game mode.
The first new mission in the new Resident Evil 7 DLC is called 21 Scenario, which Capcom has provided a small description for. "Gamble life and limb in a deadly game run by Lucas Baker."
The second mission in the new DLC is called Daughters Scenario and this serves as a prequel to the storyline in the missions in the base game.
The new game mode that's been bundled with the DLC expansion is named Jack's 55th Birthday, in which players are tasked with feeding Jack Baker, the main villain in Resident Evil 7, with large amounts of food. It sounds odd, but it's surprisingly enjoyable and equally as hilarious.

Capcom has revealed that Kolin will be introduced to Street Fighter V on February 28, and one more character will follow every month following Kolin's release.
In the statement, a small look into the lore behind Kolin was provided: "After working in the shadows for Gill and the secret Illuminati organization, Kolin makes her Street Fighter V debut. First appearing in Street Fighter III, Kolin works behind the scenes in order to fulfill the Prophecy of Miraha and stop any who dare stand in Gill's way. She is typically calm and collected, but can suddenly fly into a rage when anybody threatens Gill and his plans."
It was also mentioned that "Kolin excels in the Russian martial art of Systema, utilizing the opponent's momentum against them and executing various slash-like attacks and knife hand strikes. Gill has bestowed upon her the power of ice, allowing her to augment her fight style with frigid blasts and deadly icicles. She is often heard speaking condescendingly towards

The first official Capcom Pro Tour event for 2017 has been announced.
The upcoming event is Final Round 20 and it will be the first event of this year to be included in Capcom Pro Tour rankings. Final Round has been a part of the Capcom Pro Tour in the past, and Fight Round 20 will be the third year running. It's not yet been confirmed whether Final Round 20 will be a Ranking or a Premier event, but some other details have been confirmed.
After last year's miscommunication from Fight Round 20, the bracket system will work. For example, last year Fight Round held a Premier event for the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour, but because of the lack of access to online brackets, it was very hard for players to figure out exactly who had made it out of the original stages and into the Top 128.
This year, the pools will be played out over two days instead of one, and the Smash.gg platform will be used to track matches and provide accessible online brackets for anybody to view.

After going full-time Smash pro, the worst thing that could happen to a Smash player would be to have their finger or hand broken.
Unfortunately for Hungrybox, exactly that has happened. During a game of Dodgeball, Hungrybox ended up breaking his index finger, which might just be one of the most important fingers for playing games on a controller.
The injury was a fracture in the top knuckle of Hungrybox's index finger. With Genesis 4 just around the corner, it was first rumored that Hungrybox would not attend the event at all.
However, Hungrybox is going to soldier on - he will remap his controller so that use of his index finger is kept to an absolute minimum. As a result of this, Hungrybox may not be at top form, but we still feel he has a good chance at ranking high at Genesis 4.
It's frustrating to see such a thing happen, but we can't wait to see how Hungrybox performs despite his injury. Fortunately, the injury should heal within a few weeks, so he won't
