New Call of Duty- Neversoft

Apart from a few rumors saying it will release some time in 2013, haven't heard too much about the next Call of duty game, and that may be down to the bigger publishers focusing on getting a strong title out on the next-gen Xbox and PS4 before other competitors.

However, according to a leaked poster uploaded online, we may still be getting something Call of Duty-like this year anyway. The image shows a grainy figure who appears to be standing in the rain, with the date 11-11-13 centred in the middle of the image. Underneath the phrase 'Ready to Get Back to Basics?' Is shown.

There's little doubt about a new Call of Duty game hitting consoles this year, however right now we are very low on information, and it has created a bit of a buzz through the gaming community.

Of course without an official announcement trailer by a development team right now all we have to go on is ample guesses. Many guesses lead to believe that the game will once again be developed by Infinity Ward, however what the title will consist of is unknown.

The first thing to suggest is that the new game will be Modern Warfare 4, although after a lot of complaints hit the world about milking the series with Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward may move onto another title.

Call of Duty Reigns Supreme

Halo 4 may have been released one week before Black Ops 2 but it remained in second place this Black Friday week in the amount of players online according to Major Nelson.

In that same top five bracket was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in fourth place trailing behind Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

The original Call of Duty: Black Ops sits at sixth place while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 reigns at ninth place.

Unbelievably there are still some gamers who will play through the campaigns, but will avoid the multiplayer aspects, and for Call of Duty, the multiplayer is one of the biggest attractions to the game. Guess everyone wants to make a console these days. Well we don't know for sure if Valve is planning their very own console but recent news confirms that Valve will be getting into the whole hardware development side of the gaming world.

Rumors about Valve's intention to get into the hardware market had been flying around since March of this year. According to the rumors Valve was working along with Steam Box console. But as usual, Valve stepped in and dismissed these rumors as being false by commenting, "[the world is] a long way from Valve shipping out any sort of hardware."
