You may be getting a bit fed up with the constant release of new Assassins' Creed games, but despite there being so many, there's doubt that Ubisoft are working hard to keep things fresh and enjoyable. The last game in the series, Assassin's' Creed IV: Black Flag, was a great new experience for the franchise, and Ubisoft want to make sure things are still as fresh as ever with their latest game, AC: Unity.
In Assassins' Creed Unity, there will be a larger focus on team play and co-operative work. There will be a set of online-only missions that will allow players to test their single player character in an environment with other players, but this will be a separate experience from the single player game.
Thanks to next gen hardware, there will also be a big improvement on overall game mechanics, and things from climbing and navigating the world to combat gameplay will have refined systems to make them feel more intuitive and seamless.
Gameplay will also feel more open;

Whilst InFamous Second Son was only just released this year, Sucker Punch Studios have already been working on new content that takes the InFamous story into new pastures. InFamous Last Light was revealed at E3 this week, and it has been named as a standalone DLC for Second Son that takes a focus on Abigail Walker, AKA Fetch, and the origins of her powers.
We're not sure why Sucker Punch Studios decided to create the new InFamous content as a standalone package, but it will mean players who are new to the series will be able to play through Last Light without owning InFamous Second Son.
Hopefully Last Light will have a regular DLC price, despite being a standalone product, however so far we're not sure what the actual price will be, or how much content the standalone DLC will include.
What we do know though is that if you have enjoyed any of the previous InFamous games, you may want to pick up Last Light as it takes a further delve into the origins of the franchise,

Whether or not you're a fan of the fun and friendly universe of Little Big Planet, there's no doubt that the series has helped to shape part of what it means to own a PlayStation, so I'm sure Sony were pretty excited to announce their third main entry in the franchise, Little Big Planet 3.
Little Big Planet will bring a bunch of new changes to the LBP franchise, as well as bringing a new roster of characters to the scene. Each of the new characters will have certain attributes that will make them useful for certain situations, adding more of a dynamic to the Little Big Planet experience.
The most interesting take on the new slew of characters is that players will be encouraged to team up and make use of each character's abilities together to complete certain levels. Sony have definitely tried to focus on cooperative gameplay with Little Big Planet 3, and I think this will make for a great party game or a way to spend the evening with your family.
When it comes to the

After the countless leaks over the past few months, we all knew it was coming, but this week Sony finally made things official by showing off a brand new Uncharted 4 reveal trailer at this year's E3.
If you picked up a PlayStation 3 in the early stages of it's life then you're probably quite familiar with the Uncharted series by now, and you may even feel a certain attachment to the franchise. That's understandable, because the Uncharted series has always been an incredibly enjoyable piece of work, and if the new E3 Uncharted 4 reveal trailer is anything to go by, Sony and Naughty Dog studios are going to make sure that same experience remains true for the latest game in the series.
Uncharted 4 has been subtitled A Thief's End, perhaps hinting to the end of series protagonist Drake in some fashion, whether his end is met by death, or simply an early retirement is unclear at the moment, but all of the rumors that suggested Uncharted 4 was going to be a lot more story-driven

A couple of weeks ago, some information about a possible Halo collection was spread around the internet, and whilst at the time it did seem quite likely, it was certainly not official at that point in time. However, Microsoft took to E3 to reveal that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is planned to be released this year for the Xbox One.
Like previously expected, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will come with all four of the main Halo games, and will be packaged into one standalone experience. Halo 2 will take the focus and will serve as the mainframe for the whole collection, and online multiplayer will be based on Halo 2's infrastructure. This means we can expect dual wielding, elites vs spartans, and pretty much everything we knew Halo 2 to be, including the wide range of strange bugs and glitches.
Halo 2 will also get a full HD re-texture, similarly to Combat Evolved anniversary, and players will be able to switch between old graphics and new graphics with the tap of

Over the last few years, Deep Silver have been kept busy. A lot of developers have gone to them for help with publishing, and they are now the publisher for many different development studios, including 4A Games, the development team behind Metro Last Light.
This year, Deep Silver have plans to announced two brand new triple A titles, and details of these will be shared at E3. According to Forbes writer Jason Evangelho, Deep Silver will reveal "two unannounced AAA games," which has certainly got us at Evil Controllers curious.
So far, we have no idea what the two new games from Deep Silver could be, and whether these new titles will be sequels to already existing franchises, or whether they will be completely new IP is currently unknown.
Seeing as we haven't heard much about IP filings and the such, it's more likely that the new AAA games will be parts of existing franchises. This means we could expect to see a brand new Dead Island title, or perhaps a new Metro game.

EA has confirmed in their latest earnings report that, apart from bringing in a net revenue of $4,012 million, there are six new games planned for announced at this year's E3 event. All six games are currently under development, and no details have been given on what exactly these six games are.
We can of course expect to hear more about FIFA World Cup 14 this year, as well as a variety of other sports games, including FIFA 15, MADDEN NFL 15, NBA 15 and NHL 15. EA may also finally give more information on the Sims 4, which has previously been announced by the video game publisher.
EA Sports UFC has been planned for Q1 2015, so we may hear a little more about that, and EA still have plans to release a new golf title at some point in 2015. All of these titles are expected, and apart from Sims there isn't too much in this list that really gets me interested.
However, there are a couple of other games that may make an appearance at this year's E3. The first one is Dragon

Square Enix has just grabbed the Trademark rights for the phrase "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" in the United Kingdom, and this could mean we've got a new upcoming Deus Ex title to look for. The trademark was filed on March 27th, so it could still be a while before we see or hear anything else about this new Deus Ex game, however Square Enix and Eidos Montreal did reveal earlier in October 2013 that they do have plans to release a new Deus Ex title for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
If you were enjoyed playing through Human Revolution, then you should be happy to hear that the upcoming Deus Ex game will be worked on by the same core team that worked through the last title, which was released in 2011.
Unsurprisingly, not much has been released for the new Deus Ex game, although there has been a concept art image showcased. (shown above.) Producer David Anfossi revealed that the art, "represents a 'ghetto-city' voluntarily built in order to separate the classes. The people in -

One year after the launch of the next Xbox console already makes it clear that this year's E3 will be important for Microsoft, but a new radiospot heard by a NeoGAF user suggests that E3 2014 may be the event to hold Microsoft's "biggest surprise ever."
According to the NeoGAF user, the radio spot revealed that Summerset Mall in Troy, Michigan will be hosting a super sized launch party for Titanfall at the Microsoft store, but it's something else in the radio ad that really got us interested. A message in the ad stated "Free food, drinks and $2,000 in prizes! First 50 people in line will receive a custom Titanfall t-shirt." The advert continued on until ending with, "One select winner will receive a free ride and ticket to this year's E3 to witness Microsoft's biggest surprise ever."
Whilst a free food, drinks and T-shirts does sound pretty cool, I'm personally more intrigued by this supposed 'biggest surprise Microsoft has up it's sleeves. This E3 needs to be big for Microsoft,
