Green Lantern.... 1 and 2?

We loved Ryan Reynolds as Spence in his appearance in Scrubs in 2003, we loved him as Chris in Just Friends in 2005, we loved him as Wade in X-man and Andrew as Proposal in 2009 and now in 2011 we will get to love him as Hal Jordan/the Green Lantern from the motion picture.


A mystical green ring had chosen Ryans character, a test pilot. This right granted him with otherworldly powers, which he uses to keep peace within the universe in an intergalactic squadron.

The estimated $150,000,000 budget movie is to be released on June 17th, 2011. Just days away! The Warner Brothers film is expected to be a big hit! However, while the first movie hasnt even been released of course the studio already has its sequel in progress. "There's such a rich history with this character, so you get really excited about the possibility," Reynolds explained in an interview with MTV. "The inevitable war between Hal and Sinestro is something that will have to be dealt with in the second movie for sure, but there's always subplots and a lot of other interesting things going on that are setting up a possible third film."

I will be looking forward to both films! I probably wont attend the midnight showing or anything special like that, but Id shell out a few bucks for an afternoon showing.
