Final Fantasy XIII-2

As most of you know, Final Fantasy XIII-2 was announced to the public a while back. It is a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII. However, it is said that it will surpass Final Fantasy XIII in almost every feature. It has a much more evolved battle system than any other Final Fantasy.

One of the returning characters are Lightning, a.k.a. Claire Farron, the protagonist. Also there is Lightnings younger sister Serah Farron. So now everyone has something to look forward to with Lightning coming back. I know I am especially looking forward to it because lets face it, I love girl characters who can kick butt, and Lightning fits that description in every way. Not only that, but she also looks super sick.


In recent gaming news some new screen shots of Final Fantasy XIII-2 were released and some of them show Lightning in new and improved gear. These screenshots are the icing on the cake. I was excited before, but to see some actual screenshots makes me that much more eager to play.

It is being published by none other than Square Equinx. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is an RPG and will use the Active Time Battle system and the Paradigm Shift system as well. For those of you who dont know, the game is set to release in the U.S. sometime in early 2012. Yeah thats right, get excited!
