What is Overwatch 2?

Overwatch 2 is the much-awaited sequel to the highly popular and fun team-based hero shooter Overwatch. The game expands on the previous title with more heroes and maps. According to Blizzard, consistent feedback from new gamers and some old players feeling overwhelmed by various game modes and heroes triggered the update. There are lots of balance changes and graphical updates in order to revitalize and streamline the game. While the changes in Overwatch 2 may seem cosmetic or minor on the surface, the best thing is that they fix the original game's most significant issue: an inability to support long-term updates.

Experience

Some experts have argued that rather than a sequel, we can see Overwatch 2 can as a big update to the first game. It brings new content and freshens things up with a revitalized UI design. By making Overwatch 2 free-to-play, Blizzard Entertainment instated the Battle Pass, a seasonal game pass that includes impressive prizes with each level up, and Premium Battle Pass. While Overwatch's new economy is quite familiar, is it fair? Keep in mind that Blizzard's free-to-play transition also means that Overwatch 2 must make money via means other than the upfront cost.
