Ravens Win Superbowl in Simulation

This year, Electronic Arts ran its Super Bowl simulation with Madden NFL 13, the game predicted that the Baltimore Ravens would upset the San Francisco 49ers 27-24, according to EA.

Every year, EA pits the two Super Bowl contenders in their latest iteration of Madden NFL. The simulation has successfully predicted the last seven out of nine Super Bowls.

The only two games they got wrong were in 2008 when the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots and in 2011 when the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In the video above, the game comes down to a last-minute scoring drive for the 49ers. During that drive the 49ers throw an interception in the end zone in the last 20 seconds of the game, which seals the Ravens win.
