Halo 4 Multiplayer News

New information has surfaced surrounding the much anticipated Xbox exclusive, Halo 4. To be more precise, the information is regarding a new requirement that needs to be fulfilled in order to play Halo 4's multiplayer.

It seems that Halo 4's multiplayer requires a total of 8 GB of free space for an install, either in the form of extra space in an Xbox 360 hard drive or an external flash drive. However, Microsoft highly recommends the in-built hard drive over the external as the former is supposed to provide a more "optimal experience". I am guessing the optimal experience means less lag and load times?

This basically means that if you own an Xbox 360 Arcade, Xbox 360 4 GB model or Xbox 360 Core, you basically don't have the basic requirement to even play the multiplayer. Yes, you NEED to have an extra 8 GB of space in order to play the multiplayer. So your options are basically to either stick to an external drive or upgrade you internal hard drive.

Microsoft "recommends" players to use their official pre-configured Xbox 360 USB external hard disks by SanDisk. However you can always use any other flash drive but you need to configure it accordingly before using it.

The good thing is that this news came out quite some time before Halo 4's launch which is on the 6th of November 2012. Everyone is guessing the main reason for the heads-up is to give players ample enough time to soak this info and prepare accordingly. If this little detail came out at the launch of the game we all know there would be a huge fan backlash. Smart move Microsoft, smart move.

Speaking of preparations. Don't be caught off guard unprepared. Order a modded controller with our Stealth Adjustable Rapid Fire to maximize your potential. The Stealth Adjustable allows you to adjust your rate of fire for all major shooters and will likely be compatible with Halo 4 and Black Ops 2.
