PS4 Reveal FEB 20th

Everyone has been anticipating the new PlayStation and Xbox consoles for quite a while now, and although we haven't heard much official information, we've been regularly hit in the face with rumors regarding the two consoles, some being more credible than others.

However, we may finally have some solid evidence on the PlayStation 4, and what’s more, the console could be revealed as early as February 20th.

According to EDGE, a website usually credible for their rumors and unannounced content, development sources with knowledge for both consoles from Microsoft and Sony have told EDGE that the PlayStation 4 will be more powerful than the next Xbox, and that it will ship with a redesigned controller by the end of the year in Japan and the US, whilst a Europe launch is slated for early 2014.

A new video from Sony almost confirms the February 20th reveal. The video title is #PlayStation2013 and plays out a small animation before displaying the date February 20. On February 20 Sony has planned an event named 'see the future' so it's very likely we'll be hearing more about the console later this month.

Whether or not the release dates mentioned above will happen to be true, or what the PlayStation 4 will consist of, will hopefully be revealed at the See the Future event.
