EA has been solidly backing up the fact that they really improved on the previous iteration and that Madden NFL 13 is going to be the best game of the whole franchise. They are not only making such claims but also layering out justifications of why they think that is the case.

I am not a huge fan myself but I occasionally enjoy having a competitive match with a friend once in a while. According to the latest buzz in the internet, the game has similarities to the past iterations (of course they can't just redefine the franchise) but has minor changes that is definitely taking the franchise in the right direction.
