Oh, hurrah - Gearbox seem to be gearing up for yet another Borderlands game. If you haven't become bored of the franchise already, then you might be excited to hear this news. If you are bored of Borderlands, keep reading, this new game might offer something a little different if a new job listing is anything to go by.
Gearbox president, Randy Pitchford took to Twitter to post an image asking for any individuals in the games industry to send their CVs to Randy's personal email. In the image, the words "Next Borderlands Team" were written, alongside lots of silhouetted figures. The phrase "This could be you" were written all over the image, which almost suggests that Randy and the guys at Gearbox are looking for a fairly large amount of new people to join their team.
We've seen a few 'we're hiring' posts by developers in the past that inadvertently lead to us discovering about new upcoming games a little early, but these kind of posts usually offer a handful of positions at

Last week, details were revealed about Guerrilla Games plans to develop a brand new IP for the PlayStation 4, however at the time we had absolutely no idea what kind of game the development studio would be working on.
One week later, we're still not any better off in terms of official information for Guerrilla Games new IP, but some rumors have started to come in, and some of them sound quite exciting. According to an "insider," Guerrilla Games will be developing a brand new open world RPG title, which is comparable to 'the scope of Witcher 3', most likely in reference to the size of the open world.
According to the same insider, Guerrilla Games will be making an official reveal for their new IP at this year's E3 expo, so we don't really have too much longer to find out the truth.
If Guerrilla Games are making an open world RPG, it would be very interesting to see just how well they create such an experience, as their studio has a large portion of experience in first

For all you diehard Borderlands fans out there, I have some bad news for you, Borderlands 3 is not yet in development, and it's unlikely to be developed for another few years at least. For the rest of us, this means we can get excited for more intellectual property from Gearbox, and some completely new games.
Randy Pitchford at Gearbox Games revealed to Polygon that although there won’t be a Borderlands 3 per se, there will be another Borderlands game in the works, but that it should be thought of as a much bigger project than Borderlands 2.
Pitchford stated, "When you think of what Borderlands 3 should be, it should be massive. It should be bigger and better than Borderlands 2. It should carry forward the story. It's probably crazy multiplatform, depending on timing. It would have to be a next-gen game and a current-gen game, if it was coming at any time in the reasonably near future."
He did continue on to state that there will be a Borderlands title

It's easy to see the similarities between Destiny and Borderlands, and in fact, because of the drop-in and drop-out co-op play, randomized and meaningful weapons, these are the two games that are similar enough to make the best comparison against. For this reason, there's going to be a lot of talk about what each game does better, and even Bungie has jumped in on the discussion.
Joe Staten, creative lead for Bungies' new game, Destiny, has taken the time to speak with EDGE about the game, stating a few things about why Destiny is still a worthwhile play after playing Borderlands and what makes it stand out.
The first big thing that Joe Staten talks about is of course the huge online multiplayer that takes place. For example, whilst you're busy with your friends cleaning out an area of the immersive world, there could be another squad tackling a different objective, and you'll often see and come across other squads in this manner.
"When we look at a game like that, we

Borderlands Gives SHiFT Keys
So the VGAs have come and gone, and many developers have been honored with awards for their games. Borderlands 2 developer Gearbox, earned in total 4 different awards at the VGAs, and as a company that started out relatively small, this is an amazing accomplishment.
Surprisingly, the biggest award Borderlands 2 took home from the VGAs was the award for the best shooter, and even with the hugely popular Halo 4 and Call of Duty Black Ops 2 being released this year as well, Borderlands 2 managed to grab the award, most likely due to its originality and overall unique combat scenarios.
On top of the best shooter award, Gearbox

Borderlands 2 DLC Info
The president for Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, has now confirmed that the next Borderlands 2 downloadable content will be available to players by the end of 2012. For those becoming bored of the main game and the 'Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty' DLC, you won't need to wait much longer for the new content, because it is very probable that we will see it within a month's time, or at least by the end of December.
Although it hasn't been officially confirmed, a leak by the PlayStation trophy system has revealed that the new DLC will be called Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, and will have three new gold trophies for PS3 players.
Randy Pitchford has also

Randy Pitchford and the rest of the top staff of Gearbox Software decided to give a surprise for everyone who attended their panel at Pax Prime last week.
