It has become quite common for developers to push back the release date of games and rightfully so. With a delayed release, developers are given a better chance to fine tune a game before it launches. Gears of War 4 has not had much shown off to the world so it would come as no surprise if the game had to be delayed.

What is surprising though is that Gears of War 4 has just been pushed forward. This means that the game will be available earlier than previously anticipated. In the past, Gears of War 4 was set for release in the 2016 Holidays but it has now been pushed forward to Fall 2016.

Whilst this jump in time isn't that significant, it should mean that gamers will be able to purchase the upcoming Gears of War title before the inevitable holiday rush for other new releases that happens each year. Fortunately we will be getting a glimpse of Gears of War 4 before Fall 2016. In Spring, a beta for Gears of War 4 will be available online.

I was pretty excited for Uncharted 4. I still am, but now I've had to prolong my excitement just a little bit because the game has now been delayed. Naughty Dog have revealed that the new Uncharted game still needs more time, and they have delayed the launch window to Spring 2016.

Considering the game was originally planned to release at some point near the end of 2015, the extra few months of waiting really isn’t that much of a big deal. This extra time will also allow Naughty Dog to make Uncharted 4 as best they possibly can.

Whilst Dying Light was originally planned for release in March, and then delayed to February next year, it has now been pushed forward to a January release, revealed developer Techland.

The release date for North America has been set for January 27th for all platforms, whilst Europe has received a release date of January 28th for all platforms.

Dying Light is a new open world first person survival game that mixes elements from games like Dead Island and Left 4 Dead with parkour elements similar to those from Mirror’s Edge. The result is a free-flowing zombie game that focuses on allowing players to use the scenery and environment to their advantage.

Like Techland's previous IP, Dead Island, Dying Light takes a large focus on melee based combat, and a lot of the weapons that players will come across in the game will be melee based weapons such as knives, clubs or wrenches - pretty much what we've come to expect from any zombie game.

Lost Planet 3 Delayed

Although Capcom originally planned for Lost Planet 3 to hit retail shelves this June, it has since been delayed and pushed even further back to August 27^th, despite thousands of gamers pre-ordering the title.

The pushed back date was first swamped by other news by Capcom, and it's only now that Capcom have brought it to light, stating simply that "The release date for Lost Planet 3 has moved for business reasons."

After a whole year since the first announcement trailer of Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar had revealed that they were planning to release a brand new trailer for November 1^st, which would have most likely revealed the release date, as well as being the gate opener for GTA 5 pre-orders. However, Rockstar have announced that they will have to delay the trailer, as hurricane Sandy has cut the power out in New York, which is where the office that was working on the trailer is based.

Waiting patiently for Gears of War 3? Keep waititng. So sorry to inform you but Gears is being pushed back until Fall 2011.The game was supposed to be released in spring 2011, but Epic Games and Microsoft decided that was too early. Apparently they are pushing it back to benefit themselves as opposed to a customer related reason like quality of the game With the holiday's right around the corner, sales for this game should be great if released in the fall. Also, Microsoft made a point to announce they want Gears of Wars 3 to be the cover game for 2011, like Halo Reach. This might be a better move for the Gears of Wars series, with the line up of games coming out over the next year, Gears of War will have better luck with more attention and focus if it comes out in the fall .
