"Force, Balance, Push" is Now Trademarked
"Fus Roh Dah", the shout from Skyrim that has become an Internet meme is now officially trademarked. Yes, the shout that sends things flying across rooms like a candy wrapper in a tornado, was gaining so much popularity, its creators had to lock down the ownership of the slogan.
Bethesda's parent company, Zenimax, went into the process of filing a number of trademark applications that are directly related to the saying. This includes things from merchandise to it's use in future games. When reached for comment about this, Bethesda claimed that they were protecting

Method Man Raps For Upcoming Titles Featuring Sour Patch Kids
Method Man is known for a lot of things. He's a member of the Wu Tang clan, he loves video games (Def Jam Vendetta: FFNY was awesome), and has a sense of humor (despite we should ignore the "Method and Red" sitcom from years ago). However, I never expected the same man rapping about Sour Patch Kids. In this Youtube video called"World Gone Sour (The Lost Kids)" he raps about an incident involving missing sour-sweet candy pieces. This is

Square's FFXIII-2 Gives You the Ability to Travel Through Time and Fix Some of the Prequel's Wrongs.
Being a fan of Final Fantasy since its early beginnings, I didn't hear many complaints about the series until the discovery of internet. Then came the wave of such things like "what was wrong with this Final Fantasy", "what should have happened in that Final Fantasy", "I'm some spoony internet video reviewer, and I want to complain and make false accusations about Rikku on FFX-2 for two hours", and so on and so on until everyone was blue in the face.

The world's largest MMORPG hasn't reached its peak and has lots of potential, according to Blizzard.
Back in 2010, World of Warcraft obtaineda high number of 12 million+ subscribers to its game. But recently, the company's most recent stats show that the game has lost nearly 600,000 members. It is probably due to the rise of F2P (free to play) games showing up and taking people away from WOW, which runs on a paid subscription platform. With the rising number of free-to-play games, some think WOW's gone the way of the gaming industry's

Japanese video game retailers like Geo are no longer supporting the Xbox 360.
Japan has been somewhat of a taboo place for the Xbox 360 when it comes to sales. Despite the fact that around the world the Xbox 360 is just as common in a house as a toaster, the console never really found a standing in Japan. While there were top selling 360-only titles like the Dead Rising and Dead or Alive series, both Sony and Nintendo are crushing the gaijin (foreign) console. Statistically, in Japan, the Wii has sold

Nintendo's new console will support 3D TVs but won't focus on it.
The Wii U, Nintendo's new console, will support 3D television technology according to Nintendo's company president Satoru Iwata in an interview with Mercury News. However, since most people don't own a 3D TV these days and it doesn't seem like its going to be common as the DVD player for a while, Nintendo isn't putting much emphasis into it.

Battlefield 3 fanbase raising the rivalry between EA and Activision
It's only been a few weeks since E3 wrapped up and already the fanbases of both games of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are standing their ground on which game will win this year's FPS rivalry. You see it in various forums, comments sections of gaming news sites like Kotaku and Digg's gaming section, and you even hear it on other games voice/text chat like Team Fortress 2 and Halo: Reach.
Now I'm a person who's usually on the fence
