According to a Reddit user, a bunch of information about Mass Effect 4 has been shared to select members of the public as part of an online survey. We can't confirm the legitimacy of the information the Reddit user or the survey provided, but there's definitely a lot of information to delve into.

Here is a portion of the information that the survey shared.

Premise: Set in the Helius Cluster of the Andromeda Galaxy, removed by time and space from the Mass Effect "Commander Shepard" trilogy and its ending. Play as a "Pathfinder" explorer leading expedition with the aim of establishing new home for humanity. Encounter "savage untamed lands", "cut-throat outlaws", and "warring alien races" in an effort to survive and colonies. Thanks to Chris Wynn, senior development director at Bioware for Mass Effect, we now have a collection of new details about the development of the latest Mass Effect title.

Perhaps the most interesting tweet from Chris Wynn is the one that mentions their progress on combat and biotics. In Wynn's tweet, it read "Combat is looking pretty great in the latest builds. Biotics plus weapons plus powerful hardware is amazing."

In other news, Shinobi602, a well known industry insider and leakster talked a little bit about the potential release date of the new Mass Effect game.

"From people I've talked to close to the thing, it's still a 2016 release but haven't yet nailed down deciding between Spring or Fall. Let's be honest, any open world game by Bioware is always going to look nice when compared to other titles released around the same time. Mass Effect 4 should be no different, and thanks to a new job listing on Bioware's website, we can get a better idea about what kind of direction Bioware will want artists to go in the upcoming Mass Effect.

In a latest job listing, Bioware are looking for a member to join their team that can specifically create "emotionally believable characters that allow game players to interact with the game, whether photorealistic or stylized, in a realistic and believable fashion."

The depth of story involved in the Mass Effect franchise has always been impressive, and being able to capture and create characters that really show believable emotion will be a great way to improve the story depth and detail of characters in Mass Effect 4.

So far, we know very little about the new Mass Effect game, but Bioware are slowly revealing bits of information about it. Although we have nothing to use to paint ourselves a picture of Mass Effect 4, we do have some details to go on.

Recently, senior development director of Mass Effect 4, Chris Wynn, sent out a tweet, giving Mass Effect fans another very small piece of the Mass Effect 4 puzzle. In Wynn's tweet, it read "Things are getting real now and I need an excellent producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect."

Whilst he didn't straight up state that Mass Effect 4 will be getting some form of online play, asking for a producer for online pretty much confirms we will be getting some kind of online component in Mass Effect 4.

Because we know so little about the upcoming Mass Effect game, we really don't have anything to suggest here. It could be possible that there could be some kind of multiplayer gameplay separate from the main story. Alternatively,

Whilst members from BioWare have mentioned quite a lot about the future of the Mass Effect series since the last game was released, it's unlikely that we'll see the next Mass Effect game any time soon.

In fact, according to the game producer for the Mass Effect franchise, Mike Gamble, the next Mass Effect game is 'years away' from completion, which means that we probably won't be seeing anything solid about Mass Effect 4 for quite a while, and it's final release may be stretched out to 2017, or perhaps even further.
