Nintendo’s latest remaster of a handheld classic “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” launched this past Friday to gamers around the world, and thus far reviews for the Switch exclusive have been overwhelmingly positive.

The game is a complete overhaul of the original, which launched for the original Game Boy back in 1993. A DX version was also released a few years later, which brought new colors and an exclusive dungeon to the Game Boy Color. This new version sees a number of tweaks made to the visuals, but the gameplay and game design remain largely the same.

Link’s Awakening has been well-received by critics, garnering a lofty 88 score on the review aggregator Metacritic, with reviewers praising the game for keeping the quirky humor that made the original such a fan favorite.

Last week, a few rumors spread the net regarding what sounded to be some kind of Resident Evil remake, and this week Capcom have spilled the beans.

Out of nowhere, Capcom have revealed their plans to release a brand new Resident Evil Remake that will be the second makeover for the first Resident Evil title released for the PlayStation 1. The first rendition, which was adapted for the GameCube in 2002 was dubbed REmake, and the new Resident Evil Remake announced this week by Capcom will be an HD re-imagination of the same GameCube title.

Once the remake of REmake has been released, Capcom will release it directly to their digital store, where players will be able to download it. It's likely a physical copy will be released for the new Resident Evil Remake too, however details for this have not yet been revealed.

Capcom have however announced that the new Resident Evil HD version will be made available for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One PS4 and the PC, and will run at 1080P

If you've been a fan of the wacky FPS for a while now, then you've probably heard talk about a new HD remake collection of all the previous games, and now Crytek, the new developers of Timesplitters, have heard talk too, and they want to know how many people are interested in a new remake for the classic first person shooter.

Free Radical were the original developers of the Timesplitters series, but back in 2009 Crytek bought them out after the world had decided that they prefer more realistic games like Call of Duty or Battlefield 3, to the inane cartoony gameplay from the Timesplitters series.

However, CEO of Crytek, Cevat Yerli, has made a small statement about a possible future HD collection, but it's very much down to the player's input. Cevat has said, "There's a very hardcore market that is very verbal about it. I would love to see this, and if the fan base approves a further petition. They're trying to call 300,000 voices; I think it's at two or three thousand right

In an interview with Famitsu Mr. Motomu Toriyama, the director of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2, commented - "The Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning download content had an ending that left a feeling - mystery and hope. The day when the meaning of this will come to light is not too far."

As some of you might already know, at the end of FF XIII-2 players were greeted with a "to be continued" screen. Pretty much everyone guessed that this referred to FFXIII-3 but in actuality it was a DLC. However, the afore mentioned Lightning DLC (which was also the last piece of DLC) actually left players with a lot more questions than answers.

So this comment from Mr. Toriyama is most likely hinting towards FF-XIII-3. But no one is certain still; is it another installment, another DLC or is it Versus XIII that is finally going to get revealed? I really hope it is the latter!
