A brand new free DLC pack is making its way to all Titanfall 2 players and it's going to change how weapon loadouts work.

The new DLC pack has been dubbed "The War Games" and it will be launched on June 27 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The highlight of the new DLC pack has to be the first new map, aptly named War Games. This map takes some inspiration from the layout in Angel City to create a multi-level small city. The aesthetic for the War Games map is quite unique - all of the elements in the map feature a VR style graphics style.

Another new map will be making its way into the War Games DLC. The second map is called Traffic.

Traffic is considered by Respawn to be a "weather test site" that spans across an intersection between two busy modes. Traffic is locked down to the 6v6 Fire mode.

Gameplay-wise, the most important change to the new update is the additional weapon slot for a player's loadout. Starting June 27, it will now be possible for

Whilst a lot of player's interest for Titanfall has died out, Respawn Entertainment are still trying hard to keep things fresh and updated. Recently, I played Titanfall for the first time since it's launch period, and I must say that the game has improved tremendously.

Now, for the first time ever, Respawn Entertainment have added a brand new Player vs AI mode that pits four pilots against waves of enemies. Players must defend the harvester against the waves, and they will lose if the harvester gets destroyed.

In similar fashion to Call of Duty Zombies, the AI in Titanfall will become harder to deal with on each round. Each round will have a combination of different spectre, ghost and titan units, and Respawn have also added some unique units into the co-op mode.

No matter how hard one might try, it seems almost impossible to get a good TV series of a popular video game up and running. We've all wanted a Halo movie for years, and despite all of the great live action content we've been given, the best we've got is a web series.

The Defiance series on the SyFy channel took a bold step, but it didn't gain enough traction to get off the ground, so perhaps all video game based live action content will always be confined to the internet, instead of in the cinema or on the home TV.

Whilst this isn't the best situation for any would-be video game/movie crossover fans, it does still mean we can get some pretty legit web series' released, and one of these series may even be backed by the Titanfall team.

Although details are still quite minimal, it seems that Respawn have teamed up with Playfight to create some kind of live action series that will air on the internet. It'll be interesting to see how well developed this series will be,

Although Respawn Entertainment aren't yet sure on the status of a Beta for their upcoming FPS game TitanFall, an Alpha has been going on for the last few days, and a lot of players that have managed to get into the closed alpha are very impressed with the game so far.

It seems Respawn has loved the positive response to their game so much that they decided to extended the closed alpha to Monday, and whilst most players kept their lips sealed whilst under the NDA that prohibits the recording of alpha gameplay footage, like pretty much every public closed alpha or beta out there, some bad eggs decided to break the rules and record footage anyway, and then upload it to the internet.

What this means for us is that we get to have a sneak peak of the game before it's full release. We get to see unscripted, real, live bug-filled alpha gameplay in all of it's glory,

Titanfall has so far been predicted to be the game that will slay the FPS giants, and has shown a lot of very interesting gameplay elements that really could make it a unique first person shooter experience.

Unfortunately, it may not be the game for everyone. Some news has recently come in about the multiplayer details on Titanfall, and one bit of information in particular has caused a bit of distress for the average Battlefield or Call of Duty fan.

Respawn Entertainment's guy in charge, Vince Zampella has taken to twitter to announced that Titanfall will only be a 12 person game. Vince stated "6v6 is max player count. Turned out to be the best balance with AI for us."

Being a huge fan of the small team combat in most Halo game modes, this really didn't bother me much, but I can understand why a player who enjoys intense 32 to 64 player combat may be a little upset about this new discovery.
