ROX has taken their first steps into the world of fighting games by signing legendary Tekken 7 player Knee.
Knee is a South Korean Tekken 7 player that's currently considered to be amongst the very best. Knee is a very respected Tekken player, and many in the Tekken community will often look up to him and his fighter tier lists.
After Knee's recent performance at the 2017 Evolution Championship Series, in which Knee placed third, ROX approached Knee with a deal. As expected, Knee happily took the deal and he's now a part of the ever-growing ROX family.
Knee has pulled in wins and trophies from around the world in Tekken tournaments since 2007. 10 years later, Knee is still going strong and he's still considered to be one of the best players, if not the best, in the scene.
ROX made a statement on the recent acquisition of Knee. "We were impressed with Knee's consistent level of play and his ability to perform at the highest level for over a decade now," said Eliot

Tekken Bowl has been a returning mini game in the Tekken franchise ever since it made an appearance in Tekken Tag Tournament. It has now been confirmed to be making a return as a DLC for Tekken 7.
The new DLC for Tekken 7 will be called Ultimate Tekken Bowl, and it'll feature the same game mechanics that were featured in previous Tekken Bowl mini games.
The new Ultimate Tekken Bowl will arrive on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 in August. The new mini game will be bundled in the same DLC as a brand new costume pack. Currently, the price tag and exact release day for each platform haven't been unveiled.
The new announcement was made via a brand new trailer for the game mode in Tekken 7. The trailer starts by Katsuhiro Harada making his way to a bowling alley in real life. Afterward, Harada scores a strike on two lanes while throwing two bowling balls at once.
The trailer then transitions into gameplay footage of the bowling alley in Tekken 7.

If you're a fan of the Tekken fighting game series then you'll know that it's been a long wait for the proper release of Tekken 7. Since Tekken 6 we've had new Street Fighter Titles, a new Mortal Kombat game and even a new Killer Instinct exclusive for the Xbox One.
Thankfully, we can finally confirm that Tekken 7 will be making it's way to consoles soon across the globe. The bad news is that Bandai Namco will not be able to meet the 'early 2017' window they had previously set for the fighting game title. Now, Tekken 7 will be launched later in the year.
"We were trying our best to get the game out at that time," project lead Katsuhiro Harada mentioned to GameSpot when referring to the 'early 2017' launch window at a press event held in Tokyo earlier this month.
Harada continued by saying "We saw some title, some our own, some from others, which didn't have a very good launch because of lack of content, or whatever it was, and it caused players to bash the product."

It's a brand new month and that means a brand new set of free games for all PS Plus subscribers. The PS Plus games will be available for all players for the entirety of their PS Plus subscription.
The first title on the list of free games this month is GRID Autosport for the PlayStation 3. GRID is a simulation style racing game and offers a lengthy campaign mode and great racing physics. Despite being on PlayStation 3, the visuals in GRID Autosport are pretty spectacular too. Unfortunately a PS4 port is not available.
The second PlayStation 3 title that is available for free in February is Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Persona is a fighter franchise and number four offers decent gameplay, although the story is a little lacking.
Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back is also available for the PlayStation 3 but this title can be picked up for the PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita too. Nom Nom Galaxy is the only PS4 exclusive title in February, whilst PS Vita owners will be able to

A brand new Tekken 7 character has been revealed - the new character is of Arab origins and was previously teased in late 2014. Named Shaheen, the new Tekken 7 character will be joining the full character roster upon Tekken 7's release.
Previously, a character named Lucky Chloe was announced for Tekken 7, and the developers received a lot of criticism, and as a result, she was removed from the western version of the game.
At the time, the developers suggested that another character would take the place of Lucky Chloe, but it's unclear whether Shaheen was designed to be the replacement character, or whether he was planned to be released alongside Lucky Chloe.
Either way, it's likely that there may be more characters planned for reveal for Tekken 7 in the near future. Previously, a latin American character named Katarina was announced, and a male counterpart, Claudio was revealed alongside her.
That means there are currently four new characters we know about so

Lords of the Fallen is an RPG that first made it's voice heard at E3. There wasn't really much to look at apart from a teaser trailer, but that then followed with another trailer at Gamescom and it started to look very impressive.
Once again, Lords of the Fallen has managed to impress visitors of PAX with gameplay demos, and I must admit I am definitely looking forward to this game.
The cinematic trailer we've seen shows a character wearing heavy armor as he fights his way to what looks like a very powerful hammer. Later on in the trailer we find out that this very powerful hammer is indeed a very, very powerful hammer. What follows is a very intense battle against what looks like some kind of oversized balrog in a snowy arctic desert.
The game looks to be a very promising RPG title that most likely will take inspiration from games such as the Darksiders series.
The developers have said that they want each fight to feel like a Tekken or Street Fighter battle

After months of rumors, speculation and trickled out information about the game, Injustice: Gods among Us is now available in the US, Europe, and the UK, as Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment has now announced the UK launch of the DC super hero based game.
For those that don't know, Injustice: Gods among Us is a super hero based game that fits into the fighting game genre, intertwined into a brand new story created by the award winning NetherRealm Studios, in collaboration with DC Entertainment and Justin Gray and Kimmy Palmiotti, of which both are successful comic book writers.
Players will be able to play as many different characters in the DC universe and test out the powers, gadgetry, and other unique abilities of famous villains and heroes such as the Joker, Batman, Superman, Green Arrow, and so on.
This is certainly a good step for the fighting game genre as we've seen too many rehashed Tekken and Street Fighter games, and whilst these

How do they stack up:
Dead or Alive 5 vs Tekken Tag Tournament 2Dead or Alive 5 and TTT2 are both great games, and both the DOA and Tekken franchises have been going on for a long time now, so when it comes to comparing the two, it's hard to say one is better than the other. Both games have different play styles, which means both may be as equally great in their own ways, but you may find yourself leaning towards one game more than the other for various reasons, so I'll try to round up a few comparisons to help you out.
Environments
Both games include incredible graphics, and stunning arena visuals, but the fact that DOA's stages -

Namco and Capcom Teases Pac-Man as a Playable Character in for the Vita's Street Fighter x Tekken
Just recently, thanks to the news from Joystiq, Capcom released a new trailer for their upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken game. The trailer basically goes over the confirmed characters as well as showing a few new ones like Tekken's Paul Phoenix Xiaoyu and as well as Street Fighter's Vega and Balrog (or Balrog and Mike Bison if you follow the Japanese version of Street Fighter). However, that's not the big news right

Summer is now fully underway, and most gamers have sunk their teeth into whatever they can get their hands on. Here is a quick rundown of observations I have made of the current gaming world. E3 released lots of exciting news and at the forefront for me, is the battle between Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3, and exactly how cool is PS Vita going to be? As graphically appealing as Battlefield 3 looks, I still cant help but shake the feeling that what it boils down to is a preference in gameplay, and Call of Duty has become just too familiar for most gamers to let go of just yet.
My neighbors across the hall have been playing way WAY too much Dirt 3, but Im sure that will end when Forza 4 comes out. If PS Vita was cool enough to make me not feel so bad about skipping out on the Ocarina of Time remake that exploded onto the 3DS. I mean that as a serious game title to compete against, and nothing in PS Vitas lineup looks as impressive as perhaps
