Warner Bros. wants to make Injustice 2 esports a thing. Even though the game hasn't even hit release day yet, Warner Bros. has already announced their first esports tournament for the game.

The upcoming pro circuit for Injustice 2 has been named War of the Gods and it will have an initial prize pool of $15,000. To begin with, the event will be limited to those in North America, so this includes the United States and Canada.

The qualifiers will be open for everybody - the first event will open on May 20, 4 days after the game gets its release. Player pools will be created and players will take part each Saturday for the next 10 weeks. Players will have a chance to earn league points each week and eventually the points will be tallied up and the top players will take part in the Season Finale, which will take place on September 17. Previously it was announced that a Mortal Kombat XL tournament will take place at EVO 2016, but before today the prize pool sat at $60,000. Today, Netherrealm and Warner Bros. have teamed up to offer an additional $50,000 for the prize pool.

Going forward, the EVO 2016 Mortal Kombat XL tournament will now have a $110,000 total prize pool. Neither Netherrealm, EVO or Warner Bros. have announced exactly how the tournament winnings will be split, but the first place winner is definitely going to go home with a considerable chunk of money.

Firstly, the season pass will add five new playable characters to the game. These characters will be part of the Jedi Character Pack which will be available as part of the season pass. Apparently the pack will include a variety of members of the Jedi Order as well as a few vehicles. This pack should include Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, Shaak Ti, the full size Jedi Interceptor, and the micro-figure Jedi Interceptor.

A survey has leaked online giving details about what could be Warner Bros. plans to release a remastered version of the Batman Arkham games. Whilst nothing is for definite at this point in time, the survey definitely suggested that Warner Bros. were certainly looking into the idea of bringing the entire collection to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In the survey, a number of questions are asked. One question asks respondents how likely they'd be interested in a remastered Batman collection, whilst another question asks what name respondents would prefer the game to be called. A few concept designs for the remastered versions front cover were also shared.

In one area, it came across as if the Batman remastered collection was definitely going to happen. The information provided in the survey can be seen below, although the first sentence, stating "WB Game is recrafting the critically acclaimed and best-selling titles from Rocksteady Studios" is perhaps the most important.

If you've been keeping up with the latest news about Batman Arkham Knight you may already be aware that Warner Bros. will be releasing a $40 season pass to go along with the game.

Understandably, a lot of fans of the series have been very frustrated with this price. Considering that most season passes are more often closer to $20, Warner Bros. has a lot of explaining to do.

Fortunately the publisher did actually come out and reveal details behind why the season pass costs so much. Whilst they didn't reveal that much about the upcoming DLC for Batman Arkham Knight, they did do a basic rundown of what to expect from it.

On a post on their Facebook page, Warner Bros. said "We've heard from our community that you want more information on what we'll be delivering in the Season Pass. While we aren't ready to unveil every aspect of the content we'll be developing, we would like to share more details now to give you a better sense of the scope of the Season Pass."

WB Announces a DLC-Loaded Version of Mortal Kombat

According to QTE Gamers, on March 2nd, Warner Bros. will be releasing a version of Mortal Kombat containing all of its DLC content. The DLC content includes four characters (five for PS3) which include Rain, Skarlet, Kenshi, and Freddy Kruger (with Kratos for PS3 owners).
